THE FIRST “BPI LIBRARY” BOOK HAS BEEN PUBLISHED

BPI in collaboration with publishing house “Amnis” has published Keith Potter’s book,
“UNSHAKABLE: the Building Blocks of an Enduring Marriage.”.

Keith Potter is a pastor and marriage counselor, lecturer, as well as author of several books. He regularly vists Latvia, and lectures at Baltic Pastoral Institute.

The foundation of the book is the presupposition that the basis for a strong marriage is shared values. The author looks at several of these values (trust, communication, committment, respect, love etc.). Each chapter gives questions that can help the couple understand the values of the other partner and to form a strong foundation for their marriage. The Bishop of Latvian Baptist Union Peteris Sprogis says in his preface to the book, „The openness of my good friend Keith Potter in this book helps to come alongside and to see that if they were able to get through this, we will be able to do it as well.
Author does not address us from the heights of some supermarriage. There are times when Keith’s vulnerability embarrasses, but after some time you realize that this vulnerability is what speaks the most.”
